A 12-YEAR OLD, After Watching A TV Movie, allegedly raped a 5-year old girl. Investigators said he was acting out what he'd seen on TV and it looked like fun.

A TEENAGER Accused Of Killing An 82-Year Old Man, implied it was because of a violent movie he'd seen. Four 20-year olds were accused of killing a truck driver after watching the same movie repeatedly. A 14-year old boy accused of decapitating a 13-year old girl told the police the same movie was responsible.

THREE TEENAGE BOYS Inspired, One Of Them Said, by the music of a heavy metal band, murdered and then raped a 15-year old girl.

TWO TEENAGERS Told Police They Were Mimicking A Video Game when they randomly fired at cars, killing one person and wounding another.

A survey of children between 10 and 16 found 62 percent say sex on TV and in MOVIES influences children to have sex.

The Institute of Medicine says that the media (TV, etc.) encourage the conduct responsible for about 3 MILLION teenagers each year contracting a VENEREAL DISEASE .. some of which are incurable and even fatal.

76 % of 12- to 17-year olds polled said TV, movies and music encourage DRUG USE.

A University of Michigan study found that the MUSIC INDUSTRY has importantly affected increased drug use by teenagers.

There are OVER ONE THOUSAND studies on the impact of TV VIOLENCE. One authority says that as much as 15 to 20 percent of violence in society can be attributed to the influence of media violence.

Two thirds of teenagers surveyed think violence in TV and movies plays a part in SCHOOL SHOOTINGS.

As long ago as 1985, the National Education Association estimated that many of the 5000 TEEN SUICIDES each year were linked to MUSIC LYRICS. Think of it !
