Our Director is ordained by Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries, and obtained his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies through Saint Luke Evangelical School Of Biblical Studies. He graduated from the

We are a nondenominational, Charismatic organization dedicated to fulfilling our Lord Jesus Christ's commission to "Make Disciples of All
Nations", and to proclaiming the truth by ALL means possible that, "Jesus Christ is the Savior of ALL men (and women), ESPECIALLY those that believe!".
Also that, "In the fulness of time, it is God's EXPLICIT intent, formed before the ages were created, that ALL things (creatures), both in heaven and on earth, shall be reconciled to Himself, and that He shall, IN FACT, be All-In-All of his creation" ** Ephesians 1:9,10 ** Colossians 1:15-20. It is our VERY STRONG belief that it was never God's intent that Christianity should become just one more Formal ("ISM") -- nor was it His intent that our relationship with Him should be shrouded in formula, ritual, ceremony, or artificiality. Adam walked with God in the "cool of the day". It WAS and IS His intent that man should have a spontaneous relationship with Him through His Spirit, in JUST the same way that we have a relationship with the air we breath and the light that continually bathes us (in the Hebrew language, the word for Breath and Spirit are one and the same). If a person is deprived of either for very long, he will die. You DO NOT observe and maintain special, formal "Seasons and Places" to commune with the Air and the Light. Our ardent desire before God is that this site and ministry might be used as an instrument to better understand and rediscover this "All-but-lost Truth" !!!
 We would like to offer our deepest and highest gratitude to the God of Heaven who, by His Grace (for reasons only He understands) chose us to share in the revelation of this Mystery of the Ages (Aeons), granting to us grace to believe and to understand. We are also deeply indebted to Adolph Ernst Knock, founder of the Concordant Publishing Concern, who, in obedience to God, devoted his life to searching out the "hidden things of God", and uncovering much "buried treasure" in the Word of God. It was through an introduction to this ministry, and the Concordant Literal New Testament, that God began to open up our heart, mind, and understanding to the truth that we will be presenting on this site.

Or "Why Should We Engage In Formal Christian Fellowship?"
Not long ago, a pastor ran into a woman who had just visited his church with her family. The pastor told her the church appreciated her visit and he hoped they would return. She replied, "We enjoyed the service, but right now we're just shopping around for the church that meets our needs."
After all, what is the church about if not about meeting our needs? Of course, the church wants to meet people's needs. That, however, begs deeper questions: "Which needs should the church attempt to meet? Who determines which needs the church will not attempt to meet?"
We live in a day when many are convinced that the church should take its cue from business and be more "consumer oriented." Pastors are urged to create "user friendly" worship and programs that meet people's needs. In this view, church is a product offered for consumption, to attract and satisfy more customers (or keep the ones you've got).
What is the greatest service the church can render? Perhaps it is not necessarily what people think they need. The church is not only about meeting my needs, but also about rearranging my needs -- giving me needs I would never have had if I had not come to church. (While we are asking what people want, we ought to ask the more frightening question: "What does God want?")
The church is not here to meet people's needs. The church is called to the counter-cultural activity of serving God in a world that does not worship God. In my experience, most of us come to church for the wrong reasons. That is, we come seeking confirmation of our preconceptions, help with our problems, fellowship with people like us.
In worship, in the life of the church, God wants to take our wrong reasons and reform them, redirect our desires, give us more than we would have known how to ask for. In the preaching of God's Word, our preconceptions get challenged and changed. What we thought were our problems are revealed to be trivial, and we are given problems we would have never had before we met Jesus. We come seeking mere fellowship with other people and are astounded to receive friendship with God !!

Thoughts On "Revival" ????
Too often, when church leaders speak of the need for "revival, they mean merely a "revival" of THEIR particular little sect or denomination - of THEIR "theological distintives" - of those who would align themselves with THEIR pet doctrines and/or dogmas. In short, they merely want a "revival" of THEIR particular flavor of the "christian religion" !! They would be as John, one of Jesus' disciples, when he said:
John answered, "Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him because he is not a disciple along with us." **** Luke 9:49
What we REALLY need is to hear and HEED Jesus' reply:
Jesus said to him, "Do not stop him, for whoever is not against you is for you." **** Luke 9:50
What we need are more men (and women) of God like the Apostle Paul, whose concern was NOT that HIS pet denomination and/or doctrine be preached, but rather that it be that Jesus Christ is preached!!
I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree together, to end your divisions, and to be united by the same mind and purpose. Now I mean this, that each of you is saying, “I am with Paul,” or “I am with Apollos,” or “I am with Cephas,” or “I am with Christ.” Is Christ divided? Paul wasn’t crucified for you, was he? Or were you in fact baptized in the name of Paul? **** 1 Corinthians 1:10-13
Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from goodwill. The latter do so from love because they know that I am placed here for the defense of the gospel. The former proclaim Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, because they think they can cause trouble for me in my imprisonment. What is the result? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is being proclaimed, and in this I rejoice. **** Philippians 1:15-18

Are you a Berean or a Sheep ??
We are appalled that so many calling themselves "Christians" are virtually ignorant regarding the overall flow and development of the Bible (scripture) from the Old Testament through the New Testament, or of the basic tenants and doctrines of scripture. They have no idea as to what the WHOLE of scripture teaches regarding the beliefs that they profess to hold. They have no idea that God even HAS a purpose, much less what it is, or the fact that He is unfolding (fufilling) said purpose through US - His Church ! Most have a favorite book or two, or a few favorite "proof" or "blessing" scriptures. Many others merely accept at face value what THEIR particular "church group" or sect (denomination) teaches, never seeking out for themselves in the scripture whether or not these things are or are not accurate and correct.
Many have little more than their grammar school catechism or memory verses, and these constitute their "Biblical Foundation". Their biblical understanding has not developed one iota in maturity since then !! Even those with NO biblical understanding at all - who will openly confess that they have NEVER seriously studied their bibles - have their "OPINION", as if Christianity were something that was defined by what each one would LIKE to believe that it says (what is convenient for THEM). In spite of this, many of these claim that they, "have no need for anyone to teach them", despite the fact that Paul states that God placed within His Church, among other giftings, TEACHERS -- whose purpose a wise person would assume would be to TEACH !!
On this topic we have much to say and it is difficult to explain, since you have become sluggish in hearing. For though you should in fact be teachers by this time, you need someone to teach you the beginning elements of God's utterances. You have gone back to needing milk, not solid food. For everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced in the message of righteousness, because he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, whose perceptions are trained by practice to discern both good and evil. **** Hebrews 5:11-14
So get rid of all evil and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. And yearn like newborn infants for pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up to salvation, if you have experienced the Lord's kindness. **** 1 Peter 2:1-3
It is little wonder that there are 100's (if not 1,000's) of conflicting and often contradictory sects (denominations?) within the church of Jesus Christ. Each group has chosen ONE little piece of scripture to build their WHOLE system upon, vehemently disregarding the fact that there are other sections of scripture that would seem to contradict THEIR position and SUPPORT that of their so-called "opponents" !!
So, brothers and sisters, I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready. In fact, you are still not ready, for you are still influenced by the flesh. For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people? For whenever someone says, "I am with Paul," or "I am with Apollos," are you not merely human? **** 1 Corinthians 3:1-4
Many build their entire foundation exclusively upon the four "Gospels", almost totally ignoring the writings of the Apostle Paul, even though a LARGE part of the NT came from his pen. It is by him alone that the structure and tenants of the NT Church are revealed, as well as the revelation of the "New Man" and the spiritual warfare involved. It is to him that the revelation of the heavenly realm, glory and of OUR purpose in and destination toward it was given. Some would justify this approach by claiming that the Gospels contain the ACTUAL "Words of Jesus" Himself. However, did not Paul claim to have encountered the risen, glorified Christ on the Damascus Road, and been imparted by direct revelation ALL that he later unfolded ??
It is said in scripture that as, "we behold the Glory of Christ", we are gradually transformed into His Image!" However, how can we "behold His Glory" if we have no REAL idea as to what He is actually like -- as revealed in HIS Word, the Bible ?? Click [ Here ]. There are so many distorted views of Christ in His Church because there is so little seeking out of what He is REALLY like through His written Word AND the living Word of His Spirit. Men have set up "idols of Christ", devised from the conjecture of their OWN sinful imaginations !! Click [ HERE ] to read, "Jesus is NOT Nice -- But He IS God!"
We all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit. **** 2 Corinthians 3:18
Perhaps one of the reasons that there is so little maturity (measured by the standard of Christ) within His Church is that our understanding of Him, His Ways and His Purpose have not advanced at all from that of our childhood understanding ???
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you may be no priest to me. Because you have forgotten your God’s law, I will also forget your children. **** Hosea 4:6
You have put off the old man with its practices and have been clothed with the new man, that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created it. **** Colossians 3:10
Remind people of these things and solemnly charge them before the Lord not to wrangle over words. This is of no benefit; it just brings ruin on those who listen. Make every effort to present yourself before God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed, teaching the message of truth accurately. But avoid profane chatter, because those occupied with it will stray further and further into ungodliness, and their message will spread its infection like gangrene. **** 2 Timothy 2:14-17
The brothers sent Paul and Silas off to Berea. These Jews were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they eagerly received the message, examining the scriptures carefully every day to see if these things were so. Therefore many of them believed. **** Acts 17:11

It is one of the goals of this ministry (and of this WEB site) to help counteract this deplorable situation, and to encourage those whom God directs to these pages to seek out and STUDY His Truth FOR THEMSELVES (to SEARCH for it as men would do for gold and precious gems) !! Our first and foremost service, which we consider it an honor and a privilege to extend, is to minister the word of God to your organization. Our Director is an accomplished and engrossing teacher, with a prophetic gifting, whose presentation of the Word of God is clear, concise, challenging, and dynamic !! He has taught at various churches within New York, California, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. He also ministered at the outreach mission in Eureka, CA for the many years that he resided in that city.
While his special emphasis is on the powerful truth of the "Ultimate Reconciliation of ALL to God", he ministers effectively on the FULL council of God, both from the New as well as the Old Testaments. | The second is our "Institute for Spiritual Freedom". This part of our ministry is dedicated to the proposition: "It is for FREEDOM that Christ has Set Us Free !!" ** Galatians 5:1
Above ALL else, Jesus came to SET US FREE -- First and foremost, free from SIN, free from ourselves -- then free from bondage to the beggarly elements of THIS age, man made moral and religious laws -- the yoke of legalism in ALL of its forms. He likewise came to set us free from control and domination by OTHERS, no matter WHAT the relationship between said individuals might or might not be. We were formerly held in this bondage by FEAR, but "perfect love casts out fear" !!
It would appear that, in the Book of Luke, Jesus began His campaign (ministry) in Galilee with a brief, concise, succinct "Statement of Intent" as to "Why He was here" and "What He was all about" !!
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and the regaining of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor **** Luke 4:18,19 |

The third aspect of our ministry is given to exploring the question, "What is a Mystic" ?? In part, the answer is "Seeking companionship with Christ" !!
For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known. **** 1 Corinthians 13:12
| There is another, the Divine side, which human reason cannot grasp or express, but which opens itself to the faith that, in contemplation and worship, lives in the Invisible. The mystic believes in a Divine light and power that comes on the soul that makes these its special object. The moment we attempt to formulate what the spiritual faculty is that receives this communication, in how far it may be counted a real revelation of God's Spirit, and what its relation to the inspired word, we come upon controverted ground. |

| The forth item is a memorial and a dedication to the work that God accomplished through the outpouring of His Holy Spirit upon the ministry of Gospel Outreach, upon the person of Jim Durkin and upon those who submitted themselves to discipleship under him. Through his three-fold message of (God's) Purpose - Vision - Discipleship, lost youth were transformed into "MIGHTY Men (and women) of God"
It is MY conviction, and that of TLC as a whole, that the giftings and message of Apostleship, leadership and discipleship -- and of God's "Purpose and Vision" -- are AT LEAST as relevant and as much needed by the Church today (if not more so) than they were during the days of Jim's earthly life!!! |
