We are VERY pleased to offer this Limited Production, Commemorative "Collector's Edition" of the "Reflections Series" that Sissel Kyrkjebø of Norway released in 2019. It is a four disk DVD set consisting of 51 Music Videos and 51 corresponding "Talks" Videos (one for each of the music videos). In the "Talks" videos Sissel says a little about the background and history of the respective song, along with her thoughts and comments on it.

The "Reflections" project started back in 2015.

The following is a quote from Sissell: "I wanted to record a "happy love-song" album for my husband. I wrote down the titles of songs that I liked and songs that touched me. As I was doing my research, the list became longer and longer, and the whole family got involved - especially my husband. After just a short time, I had more than 100 songs on my list!

I discovered that the songs I had chosen were not only "happy love-songs" as first intended. Instead, I had chosen songs about; longing, infatuation, real love, joy, passion, sadness - and even songs about being cheated. Together, they were "Reflections" of emotions and situations that one might experience throughout their life. I ended up choosing 50 songs to record from my list.

The recordings took place over the next 4 years in LA, Norway, and Sweden with fantastic musicians."

You are purchasing a NTSC, Wide Screen (16:9 aspect ratio) disk set ! Make VERY sure that your DVD player will play a "NTSC" coded DVD. Most modern NTSC DVD players will play BOTH NTSC and PAL. However, a PAL DVD player will NOT play NTSC. NTSC is used mostly in North and South America (and in Asia??), while PAL is used in many European and Asian countries.

As stated, this DVD set is being offered as a Limited Production, "Commemorative Offering" at NO Profit in order to honor Sissel. All labor has been and is being donated. We are charging ONLY a sufficient amount to cover the production and distribution costs of the disk set, plus a small reserve to cover contingencies such as refunds for defective disks.

Therefore, we urge you NOT to request a refund for ANY other reason than a defective or lost disk. When the offering is ended, ANY reserve will be donated to UNICEF on behalf of Sissel.

In addition - shipping, local taxes and/or various duty charges such as each country might require will also be added.

PLEASE be careful when removing the disks from the spindle. Place a finger on the spindle and, while gently pressing DOWN on it, lift the disk UPWARD by its edge. DO NOT apply excessive pressure to the disk nor attempt to PRY it up. It will crack or be otherwise damaged if you so do !!

Sissel Kyrkjebø, the international singing sensation and national treasure of Norway, is established as one of the world’s leading crossover sopranos. Her angelic and powerful voice has made Sissel a national institution and she has sung all over the world, selling over ten million solo albums. She has contributed haunting vocal tracks for the soundtrack to Titanic and The Lord of the Rings, and has been performing duets with singers like Charles Aznavour, Andrea Bocelli, Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo, Mario Frangoulis, Josh Groban, Brian May, Neil Sedaka, Bryn Terfel and Russell Watson.

In 2005, she was knighted by the King of Norway, as the youngest ever to receive this honour.
